Android XR
Google on a blog clearly announced that ANDROID XR is a new operating system for the users of extended reality devices. They also mentioned that the OS also in support to its ai assistant Gemini. On December 12 of this is announcement happened.
Google also mentioned that this will also support for the features on Augmented reality (AR), Virtual reality (VR), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The new devices are going to be come up with advanced features. These like mixed reality headsets and also smart glasses.
The first developer preview of it is released on Thursday in this December of 2024.
Google also clarifies that, this is the first device that will run on android XR is codenamed PROJECT MOOHAN.
