SEARCH
AI Mode turns Google Search into a conversation. Here is how it works.
AllInfo AI
THE IDEA
AI Mode splits your question into smaller searches, then writes one answer with links.
VS AI OVERVIEWS
AI Overviews give a quick summary. AI Mode is a full chat with follow up questions.
HOW TO OPEN IT
Visit google.com/ai, tap AI Mode on google.com, or tap it in the Google app.
TRY THIS
Talk out loud and share your camera in the Google app to get answers in real time.
NEW IN OCTOBER
Since 15 October, links appear more often and higher up inside AI answers.
THE MODEL
Gemini 3.5 Flash is the default. Pro and Ultra users can pick Gemini 4 Argon.
